Annual Accounts , also known as Year End, Statutory or Company Accounts and Annual Return are a requirement for every UK registered Company (Ltd, LLP etc) set by Companies House.
As such, each company is obligated to file a set of Annual Accounts after every twelve months from the date you incorporated (formed) your company.
You then have nine months to file a set of Annual Accounts with Companies House and twelve months to file your Annual Accounts and Corporation Tax with HMRC.
At AK Accountants we prepare our clients Annual Accounts with plenty of time to review draft Annual Accounts, avoid late penalty fines and take care of credit scoring. Credit score agencies rate companies favourablywhen Annual Accounts are filed sooner rather than later, especially for new companies. You are also obligated to file a Confirmation Statement after every 12 months from the date you incorporated your company. We can take care of this for our clients in a timely and accurate manner.
It is important to note that missing your filing date can lead to Directors being prosecuted and your company being dissolved, so it makes sense to have experts prepare and file your Confirmation Statement.
